How to Update CrowdStrike Software
CrowdStrike updates may be delivered through managed policies and deployment controls. Follow your organization’s change and maintenance procedures.
Check update status
- Open the approved management interface if your role permits it, or ask your administrator to verify the device’s update status.
- Confirm that the device is online and can reach the services required by your organization.
- Check whether a maintenance window or staged rollout is in progress.
Resolve update issues
- Record the affected device, operating system, update time, and any displayed error.
- Check whether endpoint policies or network controls are preventing the update from completing.
- Avoid downloading update packages from unofficial sources.
- Escalate repeated failures to your security administrator with relevant logs collected under company policy.
